ABSTRACT

Os métodos de aprendizagem ativa têm se mostrado como ferramentas relevantes no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, sendo para isso necessária a formação continuada de docentes que atuam no ensino superior em Saúde. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar como ocorre o desenvolvimento continuado do docente e as estratégias sugeridas para isso. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de campo qualitativa, fundamentada nos pressupostos da Teoria das Representações Sociais. A pesquisa foi realizada com quarenta docentes de uma instituição de ensino superior. Os resultados apontaram para duas categorias temáticas: Educação Continuada e Educação Permanente, e seis subcategorias: Oficinas de Capacitação, Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação, Reflexão sobre a Prática e Cursos de Capacitação. Os achados desta pesquisa podem contribuir para o fortalecimento de estratégias de desenvolvimento continuado de docentes na Graduação em Saúde. (AU)


Active learning methods have shown themselves to be important tools in the teaching and learning process, making the continuous education of university teachers in the area of health necessary. The aim of this study was to analyze education in this area and the strategies suggested for the continuous professional development of teachers. We conducted a qualitative field study grounded in the premises of social representation theory with 40 teachers from a higher education institution. The results pointed to two core thematic categories (continuous education and permanent education) and four subcategories (training workshops, digital information and communication technologies, reflecting on practice, and training workshops). The findings of this study can contribute to strengthening strategies for the continuous professional development of university teachers in the area of health. (AU)


Los métodos de aprendizaje activo han mostrado ser herramientas relevantes en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, siendo para tanto necesaria la formación continua de docentes que actúan en la enseñanza superior de salud. El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar cómo ocurre y las estrategias sugeridas para el desarrollo continuo del docente. Se trata de una investigación de campo cualitativa, fundamentada en las presuposiciones de la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales. La investigación se realizó con cuarenta docentes de una institución de Enseñanza Superior. Los resultados señalaron dos categorías temáticas: Educación continua y Educación Permanente y seis subcategorías: Talleres de capacitación, Tecnologías digitales de Información y Comunicación, Reflexión de la práctica y Cursos de capacitación. Los hallazgos de esta investigación pueden contribuir para el desarrollo de estrategias de desarrollo continuo de docentes en la graduación de salud. (AU)

ABSTRACT

Introducción: Las enfermedades crónicas implican un reto sanitario e intersectorial. Por ello, los prestadores requieren adquirir competencias específicas según estándares nacionales e internacionales para implantar una atención primaria de salud que provea acceso y cobertura universal. Objetivo: Reflexionar sobre elementos relevantes vinculados a las competencias de los proveedores de salud para la atención de personas con condiciones crónicas, en el contexto de la atención primaria de salud. Métodos: Se discuten estrategias, la implementación del Modelo de Cuidados Crónicos y la adquisición de competencias, analizando aspectos de la formación profesional, el aseguramiento de la educación continua y la disposición de los proveedores para estar a la vanguardia de los cuidados. Conclusiones: Para proveer una atención integral a personas con enfermedades crónicas es necesario el fortalecimiento del capital humano y la instalación de relaciones coproductivas entre el equipo multidisciplinario. Además, es fundamental que los equipos conozcan e incorporen estrategias con demostración de eficacia a nivel internacional, entre ellos se encuentra el Modelo de Cuidados Crónicos, cuya implementación ha sido lenta y con desarrollo parcial(AU)


Introduction: Chronic diseases represent a health and intersectoral challenge. Therefore, providers need to acquire specific competences according to national and international standards, in order to implement primary healthcare providing universal access and coverage. Objective: To reflect on the relevant elements related to the competences of healthcare providers for the care of people with chronic conditions in the context of primary healthcare. Methods: Strategies are discussed, together with the implementation of the chronic care model and the acquisition of competences, analyzing aspects of professional training, the assurance of continuing education and the willingness of providers to be at the forefront of care. Conclusions: In order to provide comprehensive care to people with chronic diseases, it is necessary to strengthen human capital and create coproductive relationships among the multidisciplinary team. In addition, it is essential that the teams be aware of and incorporate strategies that have been shown to be effective at the international level, including the chronic care model, whose implementation has been slow and only partially developed(AU)

ABSTRACT

Introducción: La población adulta mayor en el mundo experimenta un crecimiento acelerado, que impone retos a la sociedad para mantener y elevar la calidad de vida de este grupo etario. Objetivo: Exponer la influencia de la formación continua en la calidad de vida de los adultos mayores. Desarrollo: La calidad de vida en el adulto mayor está fuertemente influenciada por el apoyo social, que le permite hacer un mejor uso de sus habilidades y capacidades. La formación continua influye de forma positiva en la calidad de vida de los adultos mayores al prepararlos para un proceso de envejecimiento activo, una longevidad satisfactoria, y una vida digna y saludable. Al respecto, se han analizado publicaciones de autores latinoamericanos, fundamentalmente, y se han tenido en cuenta las experiencias de las Cátedras Universitarias del Adulto Mayor en Cuba. Conclusiones: Las experiencias de la participación de los adultos mayores en la formación continua universitaria demuestran que contribuye a elevar la calidad de vida de estas personas, así como a su inserción plena en la comunidad(AU)


Introduction: The older adult population worldwide is increasingly growing, which imposes challenges on society to maintain and improve the quality of life of this age group. Objective: To present the influence of continuous training on the quality of life of older adults. Development: Quality of life in the older adult is strongly influenced by social support, which allows them to make better use of their skills and capabilities. Continuous training influences the quality of life of older adults positively, by preparing them for an active aging process, a satisfactory longevity, as well as a dignified and healthy life. In this regard, publications by Latin American authors have been analyzed, fundamentally; while the experiences of the Elderly University Chairs in Cuba have been taken into account. Conclusions: The experiences of the older adults' participation in university continuous education show that it contributes to raising the quality of life of these people, as well as their full insertion in the community(AU)

ABSTRACT

Introducción: La formación del docente de Enfermería tiene ante sí el reto de su profesionalización, en un mundo caracterizado por la globalización, un acelerado desarrollo de la ciencia, las tecnologías y complejos procesos de cambios que requieren de nuevas transformaciones del conocimiento; es una necesidad la actualización de saberes más avanzados en metodologías activas en el docente de enfermería como un proceso continuo y simultáneo para alcanzar multihabilidades y valores. Objetivo: Describir los aspectos fundamentales que conforman el proceso de formación del docente de Enfermería en metodologías activas de aprendizajes en las instituciones de educación superior. Material y Métodos: El presente estudio es de diseño descriptivo, con un análisis de la información de manera inductiva, se examinaron 76 textos en las bases de datos Scopus, Scielo, Eric, empleadas como fuentes de investigación. Tras aplicar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión se abordó el estudio con un total de 27 artículos. Conclusiones: Todas las profesiones, oficios se verán afectados de una manera u otra en esta crucial avanzada por lo que es imprescindible el papel de las instituciones de educación superior en la emergente implementación y enseñanza de las metodologías activas que hoy anhelan ser aplicadas de manera insoslayable en los diferentes saberes; la profesión y ciencia de Enfermería no está exenta de ello; lo que busca un proceso transformador de profesionales competentes hacia una sociedad laboral competitiva(AU)


Introduction: Nursing teacher training is a professional challenge in a world characterized by globalization, accelerated development of science and technologies and complex processes of change that require new transformations of knowledge; an updating of the most advanced knowledge in active methodologies for nursing professors as a continuous and simultaneous process to promote multi-abilities and values is a must. Objective: To describe the main aspects that make up the Nursing teacher training process in active learning methodologies in higher education centers. Material and Methods: Descriptive study with an inductive content analysis. A total of 76 bibliographies were examined in the Scopus, Scielo, and Eric databases, which were used as research sources. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the study was approached with a total of 27 articles. Conclusions: All professions and experiences will be affected in one way or another in this crucial advance, so the role of higher education centers is essential in the emerging implementation and teaching of active methodologies that today yearn to be applied in an unavoidable way in the different fields of knowledge. The profession and Nursing science is not exempt from this trend and looks for a transforming process of competent professionals towards a competitive society of labor(AU)

ABSTRACT

Introducción: Se observan dificultades en el manejo del Proceso de Atención de Enfermería en los internos de enfermería, que limitan su aplicación y pone en riesgo la calidad del cuidado. Objetivo: Evaluar la efectividad de una capacitación para internos, sobre conocimientos y aplicación del Proceso de Atención de Enfermería. Métodos: Estudio pre experimental, con un grupo, antes y después, en el instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal, 2018. Población = 78, Muestra = 60 internos de enfermería. Después del pre test se planificó y realizó la capacitación a 12 grupos de cinco internos cada uno, cada cuatro semanas y se aplicó post test. La prueba de Smirnov- Kolmogorov determinó la distribución de normalidad de los datos y según las variables y tiempo de observación se aplicó estadísticos descriptivos. Trasformando las puntuaciones vigesimales a categorías: desaprobado, regular, bueno, muy bueno y excelente se obtuvo el valor final de las variables. La prueba de hipótesis, se realizó mediante Prueba t de Student para medias de dos muestras emparejadas. Resultados: La edad media fue 24 años, 86 por ciento (52) sexo femenino. Las calificaciones antes de la intervención, fueron de 10,6 ± 1,45 para los conocimientos y 13,7 ± 1,21 para la aplicación, del proceso de atención de enfermería después 16,4 ± 1,57 y 17,2 ± 1,64 respectivamente. Conclusión: Demostró la efectividad del programa la variación positiva en el nivel de conocimientos del Proceso de Atención de Enfermería de "regular "a "muy bueno" y en el de aplicación de un nivel "regular" a "bueno y excelente"(AU)


Introduction: Difficulties are perceived with respect to management of the nursing care process by nursing interns, which limits its application and puts quality of care at risk. Objective: To assess the effectiveness of a training received by interns concerning knowledge and application of the nursing care process. Methods: One-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental study carried out in 2018 at the National Maternal and Perinatal Institute. The population and the sample were 78 and 60 nursing interns, respectively. After the pretest, training was planned and carried out, every four weeks, with twelve groups of five interns each. Then posttest was applied. The Smirnov-Kolmogorov test determined the normality distribution of the data and, according to the variables and observation time, descriptive statistics was applied. Transforming the vigesimal scores into the categories disapproved, fair, good, very good and excellent, the final value of the variables was obtained. The hypothesis test was performed using Student's t test for means of two paired samples. Results: The mean age was 24 years. 86 percent (52) were female. The scores before the intervention were 10.6 ± 1.45 for knowledge and 13.7 ± 1.21 for application. For the posttest application of the nursing care process, such scores were 16.4 ± 1.57 and 17.2 ± 1.64, respectively. Conclusion: The effectiveness of the program was demonstrated by the positive level variation in knowledge about the nursing care process, being from regular to very good. In the application level, it moved from the level regular to good and excellent(AU)

ABSTRACT

Este artigo apresenta uma discussão sobre a configuração subjetiva da profissão sinalizando a importância de processos de formação continuada que sejam mobilizadores de novos recursos subjetivos. Aborda a relação entre o processo de formação continuada e os modos de atuação profissional, numa perspectiva que considera a subjetividade como elemento a ser considerado nos espaços formativos. Para dialogar com os pressupostos da Teoria da Subjetividade, utilizaram-se os princípios epistemológicos e metodológicos da Epistemologia Qualitativa para a construção de um conhecimento concebido como um processo de construção interpretativa. Na participante da pesquisa, a configuração subjetiva da profissão pode ser reconhecida pela abertura às novas aprendizagens e ao próprio processo de desenvolvimento, pelo movimento de ação orientado pelo outro, pelo envolvimento/compromisso com a Educação Inclusiva, pela crença na potencialidade do estudante, pela crença no trabalho coletivo e pelos valores pessoais que possibilitam uma relação positiva e saudável com a vida.


En este artículo se presenta una discusión sobre la configuración subjetiva de la profesión señalando la importancia de procesos de formación continuada que sean movilizadores de nuevos recursos subjetivos. Aborda la relación entre el proceso de formación continuada y los modos de actuación profesional, en una perspectiva que considera la subjetividad como elemento a ser considerado en los espacios formativos. Para dialogar con los presupuestos de la Teoría de la Subjetividad, se utilizaron los principios epistemológicos y metodológicos de la Epistemología Cualitativa para la construcción de un conocimiento concebido como un proceso de construcción interpretativa. En la participante de la investigación, la configuración subjetiva de la profesión puede ser reconocida por la abertura a los nuevos aprendizajes y al propio proceso de desarrollo, por el movimiento de acción orientado por el otro, por el involucramiento/compromiso con la Educación Inclusiva, por la creencia en la potencialidad del estudiante, por la creencia en la labor colectiva y por los valores personales que posibilitan una relación positiva y sano con la vida.


This article presents a discussion on the subjective configuration of the psychological professional practice, which hints at the importance of continuous education processes that mobilize new subjective resources. It also addresses the relationship between the process of continuous education and the modes of professional activity, in a perspective that considers subjectivity as an element to be approached in training spaces. In order to dialogue with the assumptions of the Theory of Subjectivity, the epistemological and methodological principles of Qualitative Epistemology were used for the production of knowledge conceived as an interpretative construction process. Concerning the research participant, this subjective, professional configuration can be recognized by means of the participant's openness to new learning experiences and the development process itself, of her movement of action as a response to the needs of students, of her involvement / commitment to Inclusive Education, of her belief in the students' potential, and of her belief in the power of teamwork and personal values when it comes to nurturing positive and healthy relationships for life.

Introdução: O avanço tecnológico da sociedade, nos últimos anos, exigiu uma atualização por parte dos indivíduos na perspectiva de atender às novas demandas nos setores sociais, inclusive na área da saúde. As Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação são ferramentas que possibilitam novas interações e criações de espaços favoráveis ao processo de ensino-aprendizagem, atuando como facilitadoras na construção e troca do conhecimento, estimulando o exercício da autonomia dos sujeitos envolvidos. Objetivo: analisar os achados da produção científica sobre a inserção das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação no processo de Educação Permanente dos enfermeiros no período de 2008 e 2018. Métodos: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura. Para a seleção dos artigos utilizou-se as bases de dados PubMed e LILACS, a partir da questão norteadora: quais as contribuições das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação para a Educação Permanente dos enfermeiros? Para análise e interpretação dos dados, optou-se pela categorização temática. Conclusões: as referências selecionadas mostraram as tecnologias digitais como ferramentas educacionais relevantes para a educação permanente dos enfermeiros, sendo capazes de potencializar a aquisição de conhecimento dos profissionais(AU)


Introducción: El avance tecnológico de la sociedad en los últimos años ha requerido una actualización por parte de los individuos para satisfacer las nuevas demandas en los sectores sociales, incluso en el área de la salud. Las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación son herramientas que permiten nuevas interacciones y creaciones de espacios favorables al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, actuando como facilitadores en la construcción e intercambio de conocimiento, estimulando el ejercicio de autonomía de los sujetos involucrados. Objetivo: Analizar los hallazgos de la producción científica sobre la inserción de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación en el proceso de educación permanente de los enfermeros en el período de 2008 y 2018. Métodos: Revisión integrativa de la literatura. Para la selección de los artículos se utilizaron las bases de datos PubMed y LILACS, a partir de la pregunta orientadora: ¿cuál es la contribución de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación a la educación permanente de los enfermeros? Para el análisis e interpretación de los datos se optó por la categorización temática. Conclusiones: Las referencias seleccionadas mostraron las tecnologías digitales como herramientas educativas relevantes para la educación permanente de los enfermeros, y capaces de potenciar la adquisición de conocimiento de los profesionales(AU)


Introduction: The society's technological advance in recent years has required an update from the individuals' performance to meet new demands in the social sectors, including the area of health. Information and communication technologies are tools that allow new interactions and the creation of spaces favorable to the teaching-learning process, acting as facilitators in the construction and exchange of knowledge, stimulating the exercise of autonomy of the subjects involved. Objective: To analyze the findings according to the scientific production about the insertion of information and communication technologies into the process of permanent education of nurses in the period from 2008 to 2018. Methods: Integrative literature review. For the selection of the articles, the databases PubMed and LILACS were used, based on the following guiding question: What is the contribution of information and communication technologies to the permanent education of nurses? For the analysis and interpretation of the data, we chose thematic categorization. Conclusions: The selected references showed digital technologies as relevant educational tools for the permanent education of nurses, being capable of promoting the acquisition of knowledge by professionals(AU)

RESUMO Objetivo Analisar como a educação permanente insere-se nas ações dos Núcleos Ampliados de Saúde da Família. Método Pesquisa quanti-qualitativa. Na etapa quantitativa, 359 profissionais de nove macrorregiões de Santa Catarina responderam um Survey; na qualitativa, cinco equipes desses Núcleos participaram de grupos focais. Os dados quantitativos foram analisados com Statistical Package for the Social Sciences e os qualitativos, com auxílio do Atlas.ti 8.0. Resultados As profissionais são, majoritariamente, mulheres, pós-graduadas e que atuam nos Núcleos há mais de três anos. Aproximadamente 50% recebeu qualificação específica e, destas, 46,1% via Telessaúde. Ações típicas de apoio matricial destacaram-se como atividades frequentes nas duas etapas do estudo. Os grupos revelaram que o Ministério da Saúde e o Estado são apoiadores das qualificações; entretanto, falta apoio dos gestores. Conclusão e Implicações para a prática Ações educativas ocorrem durante as práticas. Os profissionais demonstram iniciativa para se fortalecerem em termos formativos, seja por meio da pós-graduação ou busca de outros dispositivos, com destaque para o Telessaúde e a integração com Universidades. Os espaços de diálogo entre os profissionais e o apoio da gestão são importantes estratégias para a educação permanente.


RESUMEN Objetivo Analizar cómo la educación permanente se inserta en los Centros de Salud Familiar Extendidos. Método Investigación cuanticualitativa. En la fase cuantitativa, 359 profesionales de nueve macrorregiones de Santa Catarina respondieron una encuesta; En términos cualitativos, cinco equipos de estos Centros de Salud participaron en grupos focales. Los datos cuantitativos se analizaron con el paquete estadístico para las Ciencias Sociales y los cualitativos, con la ayuda de Atlas.ti 8.0. Resultados Las profesionales son, en su mayoría, mujeres, con títulos de postgrado, que trabajan en los Centros de Salud Familiar hace más de tres años. Cerca de 50% recibió cualificación específica y de este porcentaje, el 46,1% lo hizo a través de Telessaúde. Las acciones típicas de soporte matricial se destacaron como actividades frecuentes en ambas etapas del estudio. Los grupos revelaron que el Ministerio de Salud y el Estado son partidarios de las cualificaciones; Sin embargo, falta el apoyo por parte de los gerentes. Conclusión y Implicaciones para la práctica Las acciones educativas ocurren durante las prácticas. Los profesionales muestran iniciativa para fortalecerse en términos de capacitación, ya sea a través de estudios de posgrado o mediante la búsqueda de otros dispositivos, entre los cuales, se destaca la telesalud y la integración con las universidades. El diálogo entre los profesionales y el apoyo de la administración son estrategias importantes para el aprendizaje permanente.


ABSTRACT Objective To analyze and understand how continuous education inserts itself into the Family Health Extended Centers. Method Quanti-quanlitative research. Developed on the quantitative stage with 359 professionals from nine macro regions of Santa Catarina answered a Survey; on the qualitative one, five teams participated in focal groups. The quantitative data were analyzed with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, and the qualitative ones, with the support of the Atlas.ti 8.0. Results The professionals are women, graduate students and who act in the Centers for more than three years. About 50% received specialized qualification and, of them, 46,1% by means of the Telehealth. Typical actions of matrix support were highlighted as frequent activities on the two stages of the study. The groups revealed that the Health Ministry and the State are supporters of the qualifications; however, it lacks managerial support. Conclusion and Implications for practice Educational actions occur during the practices. The professionals demonstrate initiative to strengthen themselves in qualification terms, either through postgraduate studies or search for other devices, highlighting the Telehealth and integration with Universities. Spaces for dialogue between professionals and management support are important strategies for continuous education.

ABSTRACT

Objetivo: Compreender como uma proposta de educação permanente pode contribuir para a melhora do conhecimento profissional de saúde sobre cuidados paliativos. Métodos: estudo qualitativo do tipo pesquisa-ação desenvolvido em um hospital de referência em oncologia no sul do Brasil. Os dados foram coletados por meio da aplicação de um questionário com questões abertas antes e após a atividade de educação e analisados a partir da análise de conteúdo, do tipo temática. Resultados: Participaram 213 profissionais. Categorias temáticas construídas: Conhecimento profissional antes da ação: cuidado ao paciente terminal; Conhecimento profissional antes da ação: cuidado ao paciente fora de possibilidades de cura e tratamento; Sensibilização para os princípios dos cuidados paliativos: o ponto de partida; Segurança para cuidar: entendendo a proposta e suas indicações; e Sentindo a necessidade de educar-se. Conclusão: identificou-se a diminuição da insegurança dos profissionais e a melhora do conhecimento. Destaca-se a maior divulgação sobre esta filosofia de cuidado


Objetivo: Comprender cómo una propuesta de educación permanente puede contribuir a la mejora del conocimiento profesional de salud sobre cuidados paliativos. Métodos: estudio cualitativo del tipo investigaciónacción desarrollado en un hospital de referencia en oncología en el sur de Brasil en el período de abril y mayo de 2015 a través de la aplicación de cuestionario con preguntas abiertas antes y después de la actividad de educación. Se realizó análisis de contenido, del tipo temático. Resultados: Participaron 213 profesionales. Se construyeron 5 categorías temáticas: Conocimiento profesional antes de la acción: cuidado al paciente terminal; Conocimiento profesional antes de la acción: cuidado al paciente fuera de posibilidades de curación y tratamiento; Sensibilización para los principios de los cuidados paliativos: el punto de partida; Seguridad para cuidar: entendiendo la propuesta y sus indicaciones; Y sintiendo la necesidad de educarse. Conclusión: se identificó la disminución de la inseguridad de los profesionales y la mejora del conocimiento. Se destaca la mayor divulgación sobre esta filosofía de cuidado


Objective: The study's purpose has been to further understand how a continuous education proposal could contribute to the improvement of professional health knowledge with regards to the palliative care. Methods: It is an action research type with a qualitative approach, which was carried out at a referral hospital in oncology that is locaded in the Southern region of Brazil during the period from April to May 2015. The study was performed through the application of a questionnaire with open questions before and after the education activity, then being analyzed from content analysis of the thematic type. Results: 213 professionals participated. Five thematic categories were constructed, as follows: Professional knowledge before the action: care towards the terminal patient; Professional knowledge before the action: care to the patient without both cure and treatment possibility; Sensitization to the principles of palliative care: the starting point; Safety care: understanding the proposal and its indications; and, Feeling the need to self-learning. Conclusion: It was identified the reduction of professionals insecurity and the improvement of the knowledge. It is important to highlight the larger propagation about this philosophy of care

Este artigo apresenta o recorte de uma pesquisa de mestrado que teve como ponto de partida a experiência com docentes que recebem crianças consideradas da Educação Especial em duas escolas públicas estaduais de um município localizado no interior do Rio Grande do Sul. O estudo investigou o modo como as Rodas de Conversa podem contribuir para a formação continuada de educadores que recebem alunos ditos de inclusão. O objetivo principal foi interrogar se, ao sublinhar a experiência do sujeito-educador, o dispositivo de escuta/intervenção de docentes, no contexto da inclusão, seria capaz de produzir o deslocamento da queixa ao enigma. A metodologia utilizada para a condução e análise do material foi inspirada na escuta psicanalítica conjugada aos efeitos ético-metodológicos advindos do tema da experiência em Walter Benjamin. O trabalho contribui especialmente para pensar os efeitos que a construção do saber da experiência pode produzir na construção de uma micropolítica de inclusão.


This article is an excerpt of a Master's thesis based on the experience of teachers who assist schoolchildren with special needs in two public schools located in a country town in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The study investigated the way the Conversation Rounds can contribute to the continuous education of teachers who have students regarded as having special needs. The main purpose of the study was questioning whether the instrument of teachers' listening/intervention would be able to shift from the complaint to the enigma when the experience of the educator is highlighted in the context of inclusive education. The methodology used to conduct and analyze the material at the Rounds was inspired in the psychoanalytic listening, combined with the ethics-methodological effects from Walter Benjamin's theme of experience. The paper especially contributes to thinking about the construction of the knowledge of experience as a way of crossing to a micropolitics of inclusion.


El artículo presenta parte de un estudio realizado en la maestría que se basó en la experiencia con docentes que trabajan con niños supuestos de la educación especial de dos escuelas públicas, ubicadas en el interior del Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Se estudió cómo las ruedas de conversación pueden contribuir a la formación continuada de educadores que reciben alumnos con necesidades de inclusión en sus clases. El objetivo principal es saber si, al destacar la experiencia del sujeto-educador, el método de escucha/intervención de los docentes, en el contexto de inclusión, sería capaz de producir un movimiento de la queja al enigma. La metodología utilizada en el manejo y análisis del material fue inspirada en la escucha psicoanalítica con los efectos éticos y metodológicos del tema de la experiencia en Walter Benjamin. Especialmente, el trabajo contribuye a pensar la construcción del saber de la experiencia como una vía para establecer una micropolítica de inclusión.

Compreender as concepções e práticas dos enfermeiros sobre a Educação Permanente no ambiente hospitalar. Pesquisa conduzida pela abordagem qualitativa realizada com 12 enfermeiros em um hospital filantrópico no interior de Minas Gerais, no período de abril a junho de 2014. Utilizaram-se entrevistas com roteiro semiestruturado. Os dados empíricos foram organizados mediante análise de conteúdo. Evidenciou-se que a educação permanente é concebida como treinamentos formais predominando a metodologia da transmissão de conhecimentos. O desinteresse e a falta de tempo foram aspectos dificultadores enquanto realização da prática no horário e ambiente de trabalho bem como a autonomia do profissional foram facilitadores. Sua implementação é permeada por barreiras como o dimensionamento inadequado e alcançar metas estabelecidas pela gestão da qualidade, mas apesar das dificuldades existentes, a Educação Permanente traz inúmeras contribuições para o serviço como redução de gastos, proporciona a oportunidade de conviver e conhecer a equipe de saúde e a transformação do processo de trabalho. A Educação Permanente ainda precisa romper com a prática baseada no modelo tradicional, a forma fragmentada e cumprimento de metas.


Understand the concepts and practices of nurses on Continuous Education in the hospital environment. A qualitative approach was carried out with 12 nurses in a philanthropic hospital in the countryside of the state of Minas Gerais from April to June, 2014. Semi-structured interviews were used. Empirical data were organized through content analysis. It was evidenced that permanent education is considered as a formal training with the predominance of the knowledge transmission methodology. The lack of interest and the shortage of time were hindering aspects while practices during the work schedule and at the work environment, as well as professional autonomy, were considered facilitating factors. Its implementation is permeated by barriers such as inadequate sizing and achieving of goals established by the quality management, but despite the existing difficulties, Continuous Education introduces several contributions to the service, such as reduction of expenses, providing the opportunity to socialize and meet the health care team and the transformation of the work process. Continuous Education still needs to break with the traditional practice with its fragmented form and the achievement of targets.

The continuing education system at the Peking University Health Science Center for vis-iting scholars (Research program for young and middle-aged doctors) is a relatively advanced and compre-hensive medical continuing education system in China, among which, the tutorial system is a good method to guide the visiting scholars of continuing education. On this basis we conducted scholars learning effect questionnaire survey and combined with the feedback results, discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the current educational system of visiting scholars in China, and put forward some concrete suggestions on the development of the continuing education in China.

ABSTRACT

Objective The objective of this study is to assess the performance of cytopathology laboratories providing services to the Brazilian Unified Health System (Sistema Único de Saúde - SUS) in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Methods This descriptive study uses data obtained from the Cervical Cancer Information System from January to December 2012. Three quality indicators were analyzed to assess the quality of cervical cytopathology tests: positivity index, percentage of atypical squamous cells (ASCs) in abnormal tests, and percentage of tests compatiblewith high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSILs). Laboratories were classified according to their production scale in tests per year≤5,000; from 5,001 to 10,000; from 10,001 to 15,000; and 15,001. Based on the collection of variables and the classification of laboratories according to production scale, we created and analyzed a database using Microsoft Office Excel 97-2003. Results In the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, 146 laboratories provided services to the SUS in 2012 by performing a total of 1,277,018 cervical cytopathology tests. Half of these laboratories had production scales≤5,000 tests/year and accounted for 13.1% of all tests performed in the entire state; in turn, 13.7% of these laboratories presented production scales of > 15,001 tests/year and accounted for 49.2% of the total of tests performed in the entire state. The positivity indexes of most laboratories providing services to the SUS in 2012, regardless of production scale, were below or well below recommended limits. Of the 20 laboratories that performed more than 15,001 tests per year, only three presented percentages of tests compatible with HSILs above the lower limit recommended by the Brazilian Ministry of Health. Conclusion The majority of laboratories providing services to the SUS in Minas Gerais presented quality indicators outside the range recommended by the Brazilian Ministry of Health.


Objetivo Avaliar o desempenho dos laboratórios de citopatologia prestadores de serviço para o Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) no estado de Minas Gerais, Brasil. Métodos estudo descritivo combase nos dados obtidos do Sistema de Informação do Câncer do Colo do Útero no período de janeiro a dezembro de 2012. Para avaliação da qualidade dos exames citopatológicos do colo do útero, foram analisados três indicadores de qualidade: índice de positividade, percentual de ASC (células escamosas atípicas) entre os exames alterados e percentual de exames compatíveis com HSIL (Lesão intraepitelial escamosa de alto grau). Os laboratórios foram classificados conforme escala de produção em:≤5.000; entre 5.001 e 10.000; entre 10.001 e 15.000 e 15.001. Após a coleta das variáveis e classificação dos laboratórios conforme escala de produção foi elaborado um banco de dados, o qual foi analisado por meio do programa Microsoft Office Excel 97-2003. Resultados Em 2012, no estado de Minas Gerais, 146 laboratórios prestaram serviço para o SUS realizando um total de 1.277.018 exames citopatológicos do colo do útero. Metade desses laboratórios apresentou escala de produção≤5.000 exames/ano, e efetuaram 13,1% do total de exames do estado, por outro lado 13,7% dos laboratórios apresentaram escala de produção > 15.001 exames/ano e efetuaram 49,2% do total de exames do estado. O índice de positividade apresentado pela maioria dos laboratórios que prestaram serviço para o SUS no ano de 2012, independente de sua escala de produção, foi abaixo ou muito abaixo do recomendado. Dentre os 20 laboratórios que efetuaram mais de 15.001 exames por ano, somente três apresentaram o percentual de exames compatíveis com HSIL acima do recomendado pelo Ministério da Saúde. Conclusão Amaioria dos laboratórios prestadores de serviço para o SUS no estado de Minas Gerais apresentou indicadores de qualidade fora dos parâmetros recomendados pelo Ministério da Saúde.

Fundamento: Dentro de los cambios que se llevan a cabo en la educación superior contemporánea se encuentra el perfeccionamiento de la formación continua del profesor universitario como necesidad para enfrentar los retos que le impone la sociedad a la universidad. Objetivo: Identificar los fundamentos teóricos que sustentan la formación continua del profesor en la universidad cubana actual. Desarrollo: Se realiza un estudio analizan los principales conceptos que sustentan este proceso y la relación existente entre ellos Conclusiones: La formación continua del profesor universitario en Cuba se fundamenta en los principios de la educación permanente y se promueve a través de la superación profesional que se ofrece a los profesores universitarios en ejercicio para satisfacer las necesidades de adquisición y actualización permanente de conocimientos, habilidades y valores que le exige el contexto actual para la transformación de la práctica educativa y la calidad de su desempeño.


Background: Inside the changes that are carried out in the contemporary superior education is the improvement of the university professor's continuous formation as necessity to face the challenges that the society imposes to the university. Objective: To identify the theoretical foundations that sustains the professor's continuous formation in the current Cuban university. Development: It was carried out a study and was analyzed the main concepts that sustain this process and the existent relationship among them. Conclusions: The university professor's continuous formation in Cuba is based in the principles of the permanent education and it is promoted through the professional overcoming that offers to the university professors in exercise to satisfy the necessities of acquisition and permanent upgrade of knowledge, abilities and values that it demands in the current context for the transformation of the educational practice and the quality of its acting.

ABSTRACT

To test the hypothesis that leadership and management skills protect dental practices against the effects of an economic recession. Methods: This was a cross-sectional exploratory study. Dentists (n= 232)were randomly selected to participate in an online survey in which they were asked about their practice activity. Results: A total of 162 questionnaires were returned (response rate 70 percent). Results indicated that improved leadership and management skills are positively related to the probability that a practice remained stable or increased its productivity during the economic recession: OR=2.39 (95 percent CI; 1.08-5.3). Conclusions: Our findings suggest that dental practices applying leadership and management skills are related to attract and retain patients, as measured by increased numbers of both initial consultations and continued patronage (return visits); and keep the economic crisis’ impact on revenue manageable...


Contrastar la hipótesis de que las habilidades en liderazgo y gestión directiva de los odontólogosproporcionan una ventaja comparativa en el manejo de la actividad profesional en periodos de recesión económica. Material y método: Estudio exploratorio de corte transversal. Utilizamos los datos procedentes de una encuesta sobre actividad en el consultorio realizada a 232 odontólogos seleccionados aleatoriamente. Resultados: Se obtuvieron un total de 162 cuestionarios válidos (tasa derespuesta del 70 por ciento). Los resultados sugieren que la mejorade las habilidades de liderazgo y de gestión se relacionan positivamente con la probabilidad de aumentar o mantenerestable la facturación del consultorio en tiempos de recesión económica: OR=2.39 (IC del 95 por ciento, 1.08-5.3). Conclusiones: Nuestros resultados sugieren que las habilidadesde liderazgo y gestión aplicadas a la práctica de la odontología están relacionadas con la capacidad de atraernuevos pacientes y conservar los actuales, en términos tanto del número de primeras visitas como del retorno depacientes; lo que permite atenuar el impacto de la crisis sobre la facturación del consultorio...

Plastic and Aesthetic surgery is a science which creates beauty by combining know-ledge and art. Combined with the professional characteristics of plastic surgery, we reformed the cur-riculum content and teaching mode of continuous education, including a established interactive theoret-ical learning model based on Journal club, the strengthening of clinical practice integrated with multiple related disciplines, the expanding the knowledge of Sociology, Psychology and Ethics, and the construc-tion of a long-term platform of network resources. Therefore, a comprehensive and specialized continu-ous education model in the department of plastic and aesthetic surgery was ultimately formed, whose preliminary assessment was favorable, and could be helpful in the cultivation of high-quality plastic and aesthetic surgeons in the future.
